Scratch & Dent Removal
Our SMART repair cell focuses on localized cosmetic damage without compromising factory paint or OEM clearcoat integrity. Using precision paintless dent removal tools and multi-stage scratch refinement systems, we erase the evidence of parking lot dings, trolley impacts, and surface abrasions while preserving your vehicles original protective coating and resale value.
THE SMART REPAIR PROTOCOL
1. Paint Integrity & PDR Feasibility Analysis
Each panel is inspected under high-lumen LED reflection boards to classify dent depth, crease severity, and scratch penetration. We determine whether the paint has been breached to the primer or substrate, or if the damage remains within the clearcoat layer. This forensic assessment separates candidates for non-invasive PDR from those requiring precision sanding and spot-blending, ensuring the most conservative and cost-effective repair path is chosen.
2. Paintless Dent Removal via Rod & Glue Systems
Where paint remains intact, technicians gain access behind the panel through factory openings and door apertures. Using precision spring steel rods and glue-pulling thermoplastic tabs, we massage the metal back to its original stamped contour in millimetre increments. This cold-working process preserves the factory paint and its underlying anti-corrosion electrocoat, eliminating the need for fillers, primers, or color-matching entirely.
3. Abrasion Sanding & Spot Blending
For scratches that have breached the clearcoat, we perform precision wet-sanding with progressive grits to level the damage flush with the surrounding surface. A multi-stage buffing process then restores gloss and removes sanding haze. Where primer or basecoat has been exposed, we perform spot reapplication of color and clearcoat, blending the repair area into the existing finish so the damage becomes invisible under natural and artificial light.
4. UV Sealant & Gloss Verification
The treated area receives a ceramic-infused sealant to restore UV protection and hydrophobic surface properties lost during sanding and buffing. A gloss meter measures surface reflectivity to confirm equivalence with the factory finish. Every repair undergoes a final visual audit under high-lumen LEDs and natural daylight to verify the damage has been completely eliminated before the vehicle is released.
